Ashraya Swadhar Greh for Women in Difficult Circumstances
Established in the year 1999.
Started with the support of Central Social Welfare Board, New Delhi as a Short Stay home but in 2016 it was merged and renamed as Swadhar Greh under the Ministry of Women and Child Development in New Delhi. Presently 30 inmates and 16 children are beneficiaries of the said program. The institution is providing free shelter, food, clothing, training, medical, legal aid and counselling services. To enhance the inmate’s skill to earn sustainable livelihood vocational training like Basing making, Bag making, Tailoring, Pot painting, Home nursing etc are conducted regularly.
